"This experience was how should say it, "Worth it and so much fun." I always looked forward to coming to class everyday. The most beneficial part for me is the one on one time with the instructor and the small class size. I've learned so much that I couldn't believe it. This class has helped me overcome my fears of thinking I'm not smart enough and that I can do anything if I just set my mind to it, especially with test taking that was the fear of all. This program is a great prep for not only high school, but also college."

"Attending the AHEC program this summer has been a great experience for me. The summer enrichment program has helped me a lot in improving my math and English skills. The program has kept our math and English skills fresh in our minds so we wouldn't forget them when we went back to school. You learn about medical information, which is helpful if you decide to go into the medical field. I think that the program was really successful this summer. I would join the program again next summer if I have a chance."

"Attending the AHEC program this summer has been really fun. It has helped me improve in certain areas in Math and English where I needed help in. I was also able to see what I improved on. This program helped with keeping Math and English skills fresh in your minds for the year coming. At the end of every week, they always had someone come in from the medical field, and talk about the field. This helped us learn about what it was like to work in the medical field, and also gave us information that would help you in the future. Over the time period that I had spent participating in this program, it was worth it getting up every morning at 7 AM. If they did this program again, I wouldn't mind joining again."

"This program has taught me a lot about math, English, study skills, and much more. I have learned a lot of things that I didn't know before, and many new ways to figure things out. This class was taught well because, everyone was taught on their own level of learning. No one was expected to learn things they weren't familiar with. We were put on our level, and the teachers help us out from there. Also, the difference in the test scores showed me that with a little practice I can raise my scores in a matter of weeks. That really helps me a lot. I enjoyed this program, and the people who contributed to my learning and education. I am glad that I had the opportunity to attend this class, and I recommend this to anyone who is interested in the medical field."

"The summer enrichment program was a lot of fun and very beneficial to me. I really enjoyed coming to class every day. Everyone here was very nice and fun to work with. This was a great opportunity to both meet other people and begin preparing for what's ahead this next year of school and in the future. We learned a lot and it helped me prepare to take the ACT and other tests. It also helped keep me on track and prepared for my final year of high school. I also enjoyed doing the work at my own pace because I didn't have to keep up at the pace somebody else was doing their work or slow down and wait for other people to keep up at the pace I was going. I really enjoyed working with everyone who came to the program. It was also interesting to listen to guest speakers and learn how to start preparing now for our future careers. We even learned about other careers that might interest us. Overall, I think the program was very successful and I would definitely do it again."

"I really enjoyed this class. It was a great experience and a great chance to learn new things. I think the best thing about it was that it was based on the medical field and it was very interesting. I learned an extensive amount of both math and English. I enjoyed reading things about the medical field and learning how to get more involved in medical activities and learning from guest speakers what they do. Today we are going to learn how to apply to medical school and pursue our medical goals and careers. They offered us a CRP/First Aid certification class that was really awesome, especially since I am wanting to be a Paramedic Firefighter. I was able to raise me test scores and successfully complete this course. I enjoyed working with everyone here and am excited for other wonderful activities that AHEC offers."
